The Story

By Spencer Graham

From a young age, music has brought me the most joy in life. When I first learned to play guitar from my oldest brother, I was hooked. Once I realized I liked to sing as much as I liked to play, things really took off. From camp parties to open mic nights, and eventually playing in Charleston, South Carolina, I always looked for the next opportunity.

Coming from a small town in Central Pennsylvania, chasing a dream like music didn't seem realistic. However, the support of family and friends in my small town opened opportunities I never thought possible. Their encouragement and belief in me have been unwavering. After my first single, titled "Some Songs," had success, 19-year-old me doubled down. Over the next few years, I navigated being enlisted in the United States Navy, getting out and moving south, and eventually moving back north to attend Penn State University.

Throughout this journey, the immense support from my friends and family has been my foundation. Their faith and patience in my dreams has driven me to keep pushing forward, even when the path seemed uncertain. As the years passed and more gig opportunities came, I realized it was time to start releasing more music—my own songs. These are songs I wrote over years of change and life lessons. My debut album "Reasons to Smile" is a collection of songs that were written over many years and many different stages of life.

God has blessed my life every step of the way, and I am grateful for every single person who listens to my songs, takes the time to read this little story of myself, and stands behind the dreams I put on display.
